Scope of This Policy

This policy applies to all individuals or organizations who are formally authorized to promote and recruit students for programs at Orane International College Canada. It is intended to:

  • Maintain compliance with provincial and federal regulations.
  • Ensure ethical, transparent, and informed recruitment practices.
  • Build long-term trust between the college, its partners, and international communities.

Key Responsibilities of Authorized Agents

All agents representing Orane International College Canada must:

  • Provide accurate and current information about the college’s programs, tuition, admission requirements, facilities, policies, and support services.
  • Clearly communicated that Orane International College Canada is not currently a Designated Learning Institution (DLI) eligible for the Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) under Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) guidelines.
  • Avoid making misleading promises or guarantees regarding visas, work permits, or immigration pathways.
  • Comply with all relevant Canadian laws and guidelines, including those of IRCC, EQA, and the Ministry of Post-Secondary Education and Future Skills.
  • Respect the student’s right to make informed decisions without pressure or coercion.

As part of our EQA designation, we expect our agents to operate in accordance with the 12 categories of the EQA Code of Practice, including:

  • Timely handling of student concerns or disputes

We expect agents to understand these values and promote them actively when interacting with prospective students and their families.

Agent Agreement

To become an authorized representative of Orane International College Canada, agents must enter into a formal written agreement that outlines:

  • The scope of the partnership (region, student category, services offered)
  • Commission structure and reporting obligations
  • Data privacy and confidentiality obligations
  • Responsibilities around student advising, application accuracy, and follow-up
  • Provisions for suspension or termination of the agreement in case of breach or misconduct

Training and Oversight

To maintain a high standard of service:

  • Orane International College Canada will provide initial and ongoing training for agents.
  • Agents will be subject to regular performance reviews, including mystery audits or student feedback.
  • We reserve the right to revoke an agent’s authorization if there is evidence of misrepresentation, unethical conduct, or non-compliance with this policy.
